Chez Fatou is a restaurant located in the Ngor-Almadies district of Dakar, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a place that is said to be ideal for enjoying a "possible" meal with a soothing atmosphere on the water.
As you will understand, our experience was extremely disappointing. This facility has a gross lack of organization and professionalism.
Arrived at the scene at 2:05 p.m., we took our order only at 2:50 p.m. after contacting the employees and the manager three times. Half an hour later, still nothing, no service offered. Staff are left to their own devices and disorganized despite the desire to do things right. Orders are taken randomly and mainly for international customers.
Finally, we decided to leave after waiting two hours without receiving our dishes. Is the cuisine at Chez Fatou refined? Mystery.
