The restaurant La Plage Dakar, located on the Corniche des Almadies, is a place that combines European and local flavors. The bohemian-chic restaurant atmosphere is perfect for admiring a superb view of the ocean. In addition, customers have the opportunity to sit on sunbeds (provided free of charge if consumption exceeds 10,000 CFA francs) and swim as they please.
On the kitchen side, we were able to test the gambas with herbs accompanied by a vegetable mix and a fruit salad for dessert. Verdict... The kitchen is good, cooking is mastered, the plate plentiful and elegant. Attention however to the cutting of lemons (the attention to detail). Negative point, the cocktail that was sorely lacking in taste caused by an excess of ice cubes.
The service is correct, welcoming and helpful. The place is ideal to relax thanks to the intimate cocoon of the location.
