The Cabanon Restaurant is a property located in Dakar, at the Almadies. It is renowned for its pleasant setting by the sea, offering a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean. The place is perfect for a family meal, friends or for a romantic evening. The decor is simple but elegant, highlighting the natural aspect of the place, with touches of wood and open architecture.
The cuisine of Le Cabanon is a mixture of Mediterranean and Senegalese flavors. The menu offers a variety of fresh seafood, grilled fish, as well as meat and pasta dishes.
We were able to test the grilled beef fillet and their Nutella crêpe for dessert. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the taste is there and cooking perfectly controlled. Undoubtedly the best steak in Dakar. Congratulations to the chef of Cabanon!
The staff is welcoming and attentive, although some visitors mention that service can be a bit slow during rush hours.
The only negative point is that prices remain relatively excessive for the Senegalese population.
