The Bandia Ranch, located about 1h15 from Dakar, is a unique animal reserve in Senegal offering an immersive experience in the heart of the African savannah. Spread over 50 hectares, this ranch is home to a variety of animals such as lions, giraffes, servals, ostriches etc.
The ranch offers 17 modern lodges, each equipped with large windows offering a panoramic view of the surrounding nature. The lodges are furnished with care, offering comfortable beds, a neat decoration, a terrace and, for some, a private swimming pool. The reception is worthy of a 5 stars with welcome drink and fruit basket.
One of the highlights is the guided safari, which allows visitors to get up close and personal with the lions in a wire pickup. Experienced guides provide educational information on animals, raising awareness of biodiversity protection.
We strongly recommend you to sleep among the animals, hear the roar of lions in the morning but especially sleep and eat in a comfort worthy of large hotels.
